Duties

• Manage a caseload of contested and uncontested matters for mortgage lenders and investors.
• Appear in court for motions related to foreclosure, eviction, and title disputes.
• Communicate regularly with clients for updates and case resolutions.
• Analyze loan files, title reports, and other client documents.
• Draft motions and prepare written discovery and responses.
• Conduct legal research and writing.

Requirements

• J.D. degree, licensed in Georgia, and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant litigation experience, with preference for more.
• Minimum 5 years of motion practice and courtroom experience.
• Knowledge of Georgia Mortgage Foreclosure Law and Georgia Code of Civil Procedure.
• Experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property.
