Profile

A law firm seeks an Environmental Attorney with 5–8 years of environmental law experience—ideally including litigation or energy matters—to join its Morristown, NJ office.

Duties

• Counsel clients on federal and state environmental compliance requirements

• Oversee and litigate environmental disputes before regulatory bodies and in state court

• Perform in-depth legal research on environmental statutes, regulations, and case law updates

• Prepare permits, transactional agreements, briefs, and regulatory submissions

• Coordinate with technical teams on energy projects and environmental risk evaluations

• Develop strategies to minimize client exposure in enforcement actions

Requirements

• 5–8 years of substantive environmental law practice, with demonstrated litigation or energy‐law interest

• Active New Jersey Bar admission

• Proven track record in regulatory matters and courtroom advocacy

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases concurrently

• Sound judgment in interpreting technical data and policy

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Membership in the New Jersey State Bar
