A highly respected law firm is seeking an experienced Antitrust Associate with a background in litigation and/or merger control to join its expanding antitrust and competition practice. The ideal candidate will be in the 3rd to 5th year of practice and possess strong knowledge of U.S. antitrust law, along with exceptional writing and analytical skills. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile matters involving complex legal and regulatory challenges across various industries.
Represent clients in antitrust litigation matters including private actions and government investigations.
Advise on merger control issues, including Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) filings and multijurisdictional reviews.
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, memoranda, and compliance strategies.
Conduct legal research and provide strategic counsel on competition law matters.
Collaborate with cross-office teams and contribute to case strategy development.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control.
Familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework of U.S. and international antitrust enforcement.
Ability to work effectively on large teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Demonstrated initiative and a commitment to professional excellence.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the bar of the jurisdiction in which the applicant resides or plans to work.
Good standing with the relevant state bar authority.
Substantive knowledge of antitrust law, including relevant statutes and case law.
Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and research capabilities.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team interaction.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
