Job Title: Insurance Coverage Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm based in New York City is actively seeking a skilled attorney to join its Insurance Coverage practice group. The selected candidate will handle complex insurance coverage matters and litigation, representing global and domestic insurers across a broad spectrum of policies. Duties:

• Devise and implement litigation strategies for insurance-related disputes

• Draft comprehensive coverage analyses, position letters, and legal memoranda

• Conduct detailed policy reviews and provide strategic recommendations to insurance clients

• Lead and support the mediation and resolution of claims worldwide

• Draft pleadings, legal briefs, discovery responses, and other litigation materials

• Participate in all phases of litigation, including depositions, conferences, and document review

• Collaborate with colleagues and maintain effective communication with clients

• Engage in direct client contact and relationship management

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in New York or New Jersey

• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience at a law firm or insurance company

• Demonstrated success in handling complex commercial or insurance-related matters

• Proven ability to manage a variety of tasks efficiently and independently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic performance preferred

Certifications:

• Bar admission in New York or New Jersey (in good standing)
