The incoming associate will have the opportunity to work with multiple partners across various areas of law, with a primary focus on family law due to current client needs. Location

Duties

• Assist with cases in family law and potentially other practice areas

• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations

• Draft legal documents including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda

• Manage client communication and case strategy alongside supervising partners

• Collaborate with multiple attorneys across various legal disciplines

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience preferred (not required)

• Willingness to work across different practice areas as needed

• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced legal environment

• Strong desire to build a well-rounded legal practice

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the Indiana State Bar and in good standing

• Comfortable handling court appearances and client interaction
