A law firm seeks a Senior Associate for its Mergers and Acquisitions practice in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will support and lead various aspects of complex corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic business combinations.

Duties

• Represent clients in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents.
• Manage due diligence and logistical preparation for signing/closing.
• Communicate with relevant parties on transaction documents and open issues.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted and in good standing with the New York, Texas, or California bar.
• Previous corporate M&A experience at a firm or in-house.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in New York, Texas, or California.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
