Duties

• Independently manage a family law caseload, including divorce, custody, and enforcement matters.
• Appear regularly in court for hearings, conferences, and trials.
• Develop case strategies aligned with client goals.
• Draft and argue motions, discovery, and final orders.
• Communicate clearly with clients during emotionally charged situations.
• Work closely with paralegals and support staff to move cases efficiently.
• Assist with or transition into probate matters, including guardianships and estate administration.

Requirements

• Licensed Texas attorney with 3-5 years of family law experience.
• Comfortable managing your own docket and court calendar.
• Confident in the courtroom and effective in negotiation.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize competing deadlines.
• Energetic, responsive, and action-oriented.
• Emotionally intelligent with the ability to be firm yet empathetic.
• Open to expanding skillset into probate (experience a plus).

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
