Venture Capital Mid to Senior Level Associate
The candidate must have deep experience representing growth companies and/or investors in venture capital financing transactions, value an environment where everyone is treated with mutual support and respect, and be a self-starter who possesses the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Will have substantive experience in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and emerging company transactions as well as general corporate governance and commercial matters. Experience in licensing and technology transactions and/or public securities is a plus. Additionally, the new team member should be highly motivated and willing to engage in all aspects of growth company representation. Continues to develop a vibrant, dynamic practice where we foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, where everyone on the team can excel with a diverse range of work in a fast-paced environment. Should have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. 3+ years of corporate or transactional experience. Strong drafting and organizational skills. The ability to interact directly with client management and opposing counsel. Excellent academic credentials. Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Valid authorization to work in the U.S.
