Duties

• Manage caseload from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and attorneys to develop litigation strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to support case strategy.
• Provide clients with regular status updates and interim reports.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably defense.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Experience in legal research and responding to discovery requests.
• Strong advocacy skills for trials and hearings.
• Experience in taking and defending depositions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
