Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Corona, CA is actively seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join its legal team. This position offers an opportunity to manage a caseload with real courtroom experience, working alongside senior attorneys on complex family law matters. Duties:

• Independently handle family law cases from start to finish, including litigation and courtroom representation.
• Manage a variety of cases, including child custody, visitation, child support, domestic violence, paternity, and divorce proceedings.
• Conduct research to develop case strategies and address various legal issues in family law.
• Draft, analyze, and review legal documents.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, explaining complex legal matters in a clear and approachable manner.
• Track and manage billable hours by firm policies.
• Provide support and collaborate with senior attorneys on complex family law matters.
• Engage in innovative problem-solving techniques to support clients and the legal team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law.
• Proven litigation skills and courtroom experience.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• Experience with child custody, divorce, domestic violence, and related family law issues is required.
• CFLS (Certified Family Law Specialist) certification or eligibility is a plus.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in California.
• CFLS certification or eligibility is desirable but not required.
