When assigned as the project team lead for a small System project or an Integrated Project he/she has overall responsibility for the management and execution of the project, including HSSE, Quality, Profitability, Performance, Schedule, Compliance with Contract Requirements, customer satisfaction, and the welfare of all personnel working on the project.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe System PM executes the project either through direct support to the PD or through Package Project Managers who report functionally to him/her (project dependent). Each of these Package Project Managers may be assigned one or more work packages (e.g., Trees, Manifold, Connectors). The System PM must ensure that the project objectives are clearly communicated and understood by all the Package Project Managers, and that each Package Project Manager is executing his/her areas of responsibility in accordance with the project requirements.
