Senior Compliance Manager, Federal

Duties: Maintains thorough and in-depth knowledge of a federal government contracting compliance programs as required by the FAR/DFARS.Supports the Local Compliance Officer in the development and maintenance of a formal written compliance program for the Magellan Federal Ethics & Compliance program. Supports the Local Compliance Officer in documenting key annual initiatives for the Magellan Health Corporate Compliance plan. Reviews policies for updates, drafts policies as needed and provides policy guidance to employees. Reviews outside activity requests for employees, identifying risks, and engaging legal review as needed. Manages compliance programs and the E&C Newsletter by identifying relevant topics, publishing and distributing it to the target audience. Reviews current and former government employee candidates for post-government employment restrictions including procurement integrity and DFARS restrictions. Analyzes government regulations, polices and legislation to identify impact on business operations, policies and planning, and as necessary, works with business owners to mitigate impact. Conducts investigations of hotline reports and ensures thorough reports and appropriate recommendations. Reviews mandatory compliance training for updates and creates targeted training as necessary. Develops metrics on key E&C activity used to improve the program. Develops working relationships between the Compliance Department and operational/functional areas.
