The firm represents multiple municipalities and provides comprehensive legal support to local governments, including litigation, contract drafting, and land use law. This position offers an exciting opportunity for direct client interaction, with mentoring provided for new attorneys.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to municipalities on various local government matters.
• Represent local governments at meetings and in public forums.
• Draft contracts, ordinances, and resolutions.
• Handle litigation related to local government disputes.
• Collaborate with team members to develop legal strategies for government clients.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure client needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

• An active member in good standing with a State Bar.
• Exceptional writing and communication skills.
• Strong legal research and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Comfort with client-facing interactions and presentations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• State Bar Membership (required).

Skills:
