A prestigious law firm in Huntington, NY is currently seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team. This full-time position will involve providing expert legal counsel, performing legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in the Family and Supreme Court. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in family law and matrimonial law, with a focus on resolving complex cases and providing exceptional client service.

Duties:

• Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on family law matters, including divorce, custody, and support issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents required for family law cases
• Represent clients in Family Court and Supreme Court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies
• Develop and execute legal strategies for matrimonial law cases
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law and legal precedents
• Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the New York State Bar and in good standing
• Experience practicing family law
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proven negotiation skills and client relations expertise
• Ability to manage a heavy caseload and meet deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar
