A respected law firm located in San Francisco, CA is seeking two talented litigators to join its Private Wealth and Fiduciary Litigation practice. The roles are open to both junior and mid-level associates. This opportunity is ideal for those interested in a focused and nuanced area of litigation involving high-stakes disputes surrounding private wealth, trusts, estates, and conservatorships. The position offers frequent trial exposure, direct client interaction, and the chance to shape a distinctive legal narrative in emotionally charged and complex family matters.
Duties:
Represent fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and interested parties in disputes involving trusts and estates
Handle matters concerning breach of fiduciary duty, mismanagement, financial elder abuse, and contested wills or trusts
Participate in all stages of litigation, from pre-trial motions to courtroom advocacy
Draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
Conduct depositions, argue motions, and engage in settlement negotiations
Collaborate with a close-knit team of experienced litigators
Maintain ongoing communication with clients involved in sensitive personal and financial issues
Assist in strategic business development within a specialized legal niche
Requirements:
2-5 years of litigation experience
Exposure to or interest in trust and estate litigation, conservatorships, or fiduciary disputes
Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
Strong writing and oral advocacy skills
Ability to handle a fast-paced, trial-oriented caseload
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active membership with the California State Bar
Skills:
Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities
Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
Capacity to manage complex legal and factual issues
