Boston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid-level associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience working on complex U.S. and international tax law matters. The candidate will advise clients on a variety of tax matters. Will work with various departments of the firm on a variety of tax matters and can expect to: advise clients on the tax aspects of domestic and international merger and acquisition transactions, private investment fund investments and formations, and transactional and investment planning for public and private companies and tax-exempt organizations; draft, analyze and negotiate tax aspects of documentation for private investment funds, including limited partnership and limited liability company agreements, offering documents and other fund documentation; draft, analyze and negotiate tax aspects of documentation with respect to public or private mergers and acquisitions, financing, and other transactions; and mentor and review the work of junior associates. Must have admission to practice in the state of New York, or eligibility to become admitted in that jurisdiction quickly, will also be required.
