Duties:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
• Prepare and review legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, motions, and contracts.
• Conduct legal research and provide comprehensive legal advice to clients.
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring timely progress and resolution of cases.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.
• Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to develop legal strategies.
• Stay updated on legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Iowa State Bar or the ability to become admitted.
• For those with 1 year of experience: Demonstrated experience in business or employment litigation, workers' compensation defense, or municipal law.
• For shareholder-level candidates: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in the specified areas of law.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:
