A law firm seeks a Trial Attorney in Boston, MA, to join their Personal Injury team. The role involves managing various aspects of litigation while ensuring ethical and responsible legal practice. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with options to work from the Woburn and/or Boston office.

Duties

• Support the Team Leader Attorney in all litigation processes, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and trial documents.
• Conduct and attend depositions, settlement hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Adhere to firm policies and update case management software regularly.
• Manage pre-suit processes, including client meetings and communication.
• Draft and manage communication with insurers and settlement demands.
• Conduct research, interviews, and investigations.
• Oversee lien management and coordination of medical records.
• Evaluate cases for potential liability and damages.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
• 0-3 years of experience, preferably in personal injury litigation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Understanding of personal injury law and Massachusetts legal procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.
