Director, State Government Affairs
The candidate will develop and implement strategies to advance ESA’s priority issues and projects as identified by the ESA Board and leadership. Will coordinate all work through the VP of State to ensure that it aligns with broader Government Affairs goals. Should have Bachelor’s degree in political science, government, or related area plus 5-10 years of state government lobbying experience. A JD from an accredited institution is a plus. Key to success in the role is the ability to collaborate with and direct the activities of states lobby consultants.
