A prominent law firm located in Miami, FL is seeking a litigation attorney with 5-7 years of experience to join its Subrogation and Property Recovery practice. The role offers the opportunity to work on complex civil litigation matters involving property damage and product-related disputes, in collaboration with industry experts. The position involves full-spectrum litigation duties and offers exposure to high-profile cases in both state and federal courts.

Duties:

• Represent commercial clients in civil litigation involving property damage in state and federal courts

• Work alongside forensic experts to evaluate and investigate claims in single and multi-party disputes

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs

• Handle depositions, court appearances, and hearings

• Manage case strategy and client communications from inception through resolution

• Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to support case development

Requirements:

• Admission to the Florida Bar

• 5-7 years of litigation experience

• Background in handling claims related to product defects, construction issues, property insurance, or similar areas

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical experts in disciplines such as fire investigation, structural engineering, or forensic accounting

• Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills

• Comfortable handling responsibilities independently and within team environments

• Availability for travel when casework requires

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Legal drafting and document review
