Location:

Duties:

• Handle a caseload of commercial litigation and transactional matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.
• Advise clients on commercial disputes, transactions, and litigation risks.
• Prepare for and attend settlement negotiations and mediation sessions.
• Maintain detailed case files and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• 1 to 5 years of experience in commercial litigation and transactions.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle a diverse caseload and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent verbal communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Illinois State Bar (Required).
