Private Client Associate Attorney

A law firm in Miami is seeking a proficient Private Client Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in drafting estate planning documents and tax planning, with a strong ability to work collaboratively and manage client relationships effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Draft standard and sophisticated estate planning documents.
• Provide legal counsel on domestic estate, gift, and income tax planning.
• Advise on international estate tax planning (experience in this area is a plus).
• Collaborate effectively with team members and co-advisors.
• Maintain productive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
• Draft, review, and revise legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise legal advice.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• 2-4 years of experience in private client practice.
• Experience in drafting estate planning documents.
• Proficiency in domestic estate, gift, and income tax planning.
• International estate tax planning experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage client relationships.
• Excellent writing, speaking, research, and analytical skills.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
• LLM in Taxation or Estate Planning is a plus.

Skills:

• Expertise in drafting estate planning documents.
• Strong knowledge of domestic estate, gift, and income tax planning.
• International estate tax planning knowledge (preferred).

• Proficient in legal research and analysis.
