As a key advocate for clients, you’ll be responsible for handling complex personal injury cases from start to finish, with a focus on maximizing case outcomes and providing compassionate legal representation. Duties & Responsibilities

• Client Intake & First Meetings: Establish trust and build rapport with clients; document crucial facts related to liability, damages, and coverage.
• Investigation: Oversee investigations to gather evidence, assess insurance coverage, and build strong cases for trial.
• Negotiation: Aggressively negotiate settlements and ensure the fair value of claims; maintain relationships with insurance adjusters and other parties.
• Litigation: Prepare pleadings, discovery documents, and trial strategies; represent clients in litigation, including mediation, arbitration, or trial.
• Collaboration: Work closely with a team of paralegals, case managers, and other attorneys to ensure cases move efficiently through the legal process.
• Ongoing Case Review: Review and assess out-of-standard cases every week with senior attorneys, aiming for settlement and favorable outcomes.

Requirements

• Excellent negotiation and litigation skills.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Compassionate, client-focused approach to legal practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in New Jersey.
