Accounting Manager
The candidate will have the hard skills to perform the tasks and the soft skills to be a great team player. Maintain both accounts receivable and accounts payable and process monthly invoices for clients. Assist in our year-end audit with financial reporting and analysis. Ensure staff and attorney payroll are processed, prepare annual W-2s and 1099s, and tax filings. Should have exceptional knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software, accounts receivable and payable, and financial transaction reports. Posting to trust accounts, client accounts, and general accounts are all part of this vital job necessary for the effective running of the firm. Prior experience with QuickBooks is a plus. Should have outstanding attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication skills with the ability to work accurately and thrive in a high-pressure work environment. H.S. diploma or equivalent, some college preferred - bachelor’s degree is a plus. Should have 5 years of law firm accounting experience or bookkeeping or related field experience at an accounting firm; expert in MS Excel, data entry, and accounting software.
