A prestigious law firm in Miami is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its personal injury practice. This role is ideal for a passionate attorney looking to manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with senior attorneys while ensuring the delivery of exceptional legal services. Fluency in Spanish is essential for communication with a diverse clientele.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, including car accidents, slip-and-falls, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims.
• Draft, file, and manage legal documents such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and devise case strategies.
• Participate in client meetings and consultations, providing guidance and legal advice.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
• Appear in court for hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files, ensuring timely progress on all cases.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals to streamline case management.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.
• Prior experience in personal injury law is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Florida’s legal system and personal injury law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to manage a high caseload with attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida State Bar membership is required.
