Job Title: Supervising Attorney (Hybrid)

Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking a Supervising Attorney to assist in the development and expansion of its operations in South Georgia. The role offers an exciting opportunity to take charge of high-stakes civil litigation, particularly in auto, premises, and general liability claims. This hybrid position allows the successful candidate to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while playing a pivotal role in the firm's growth within the region.

Duties:

• Led and supported Partners in handling complex litigation matters, ensuring high-quality legal outcomes.
• Manage a substantial caseload of litigation files while adhering to deadlines and maintaining organization.
• Conduct in-depth research and provide concise briefings on intricate legal issues.
• Draft and present motions, advocating effectively for clients.
• Participate actively in case management, including depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
• Prepare and review legal reports and documentation to ensure thoroughness and compliance.
• Played a leadership role in helping to expand the firm’s presence in South Georgia.
• Assist in identifying and mentoring talent to support ongoing regional growth.
• Meet a billable hour target of 1750 hours annually.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on auto, premises, or general liability cases preferred.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure environment.
• Proven leadership potential and a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Georgia State Bar License.
