Environmental and/or Industrial Hygiene Technician
The candidate will be responsible for performance of environmental and industrial hygiene projects including asbestos assessments and abatement monitoring, remediation system operations and maintenance, hazardous building materials sampling, overseeing soil boring and monitor well installations, collecting groundwater and soil/sediment samples for laboratory analysis, conducting site inspections/surveys, and data reduction. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work as a team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and budgets. Periodic travel may be necessary on a project by project basis. AS or BS degree in engineering, geology, or related sciences preferred. Two years relevant experience. Experience conducting environmental and hazardous building materials sampling. Experience conducting operations and maintenance of soil and groundwater treatment systems, or related experience (e.g. plumbing, motor repairs) preferred.
