Job Overview:

Duties:

• Handle all phases of complex commercial litigation, including case development, discovery, and trial preparation

• Draft sophisticated memoranda, pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs

• Conduct legal research and provide detailed case analyses

• Manage discovery processes, including written discovery, depositions, and expert coordination

• Engage with clients, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Participate in strategy development for litigation matters and contribute to case resolution efforts

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in complex commercial litigation

• Demonstrated experience in insurance litigation or matters involving insurance coverage disputes

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a litigation team

• Strong case management and organizational capabilities

• Experience handling direct communications with clients, adversaries, and courts

• Prior courtroom and deposition exposure preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic performance

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing
