Tax Manager, North Americas & US Intl

The candidate will be responsible for the quarterly and annual income tax provision processes for the assigned jurisdictions. Oversee preparation of supporting workpapers for the tax provision reporting packages, including US international tax calculations (for example Subpart F, GILTI, BEAT, foreign tax credits, etc.). Review staff-prepared workpaper to support the tax lifecycle. Review/prepare the related monthly/quarterly tax accruals, tax payments, and tax account reconciliations. Coordinate tax filings and information requests with 3rd party service providers. Manage and review the third-party providers responsible for the outsourced tax compliance with respect to timeline and fees. Review and substantiate tax account balances including analyzing impact of tax true-ups and auditing support for deferred tax balances. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement with the provision and compliance process, especially with respect to the utilization of technology. Monitor international-related legislative updates for potential impact on Oceaneering operations. Ensure that the company is tax compliant within operating jurisdictions. Assist with other special projects, including foreign restructurings and analyzing the cash tax and financial reporting impact of tax planning. Effectively team with managers with respect to incorporating international tax matters in the global provision and compliance tasks. Effectively team with the tax reporting manager to ensure RTP and TBBS is prepared, reviewed, and documented adequately and timely. Contribute to tax planning and other enterprise initiatives. Ability to travel domestically and internationally for up to 15% of the year.
