Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, both pre-suit and in-suit.
• Conduct client interviews and maintain regular communication.
• Investigate cases, including motor vehicle accidents and premises liability.
• Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents.
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of discovery.
• Prepare for and attend court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Negotiate settlements and medical liens.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.

Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent legal writing skills.
• Curiosity and ability to provide and receive constructive feedback.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Honesty and self-awareness with a drive to learn and grow.
• Licensed to practice in Illinois.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
