The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in executive compensation and employee benefits matters, including public company disclosures and M&A transactions.

Duties

• Manage executive compensation disclosures for public companies.
• Advise on employee benefits aspects of M&A and private equity transactions.
• Develop and oversee tax-qualified and nonqualified retirement plans.
• Negotiate executive employment and severance arrangements.
• Design equity and non-equity incentive plans.
• Engage in significant client contact and handle matters independently.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of experience in executive compensation and employee benefits.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of North Carolina or eligibility to waive in.
