A distinguished law firm located in New York City, NY, is seeking a dynamic and experienced attorney to handle high-impact plaintiff-side personal injury litigation. The role involves managing complex catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases across a variety of forums, with national reach. The position is well-suited for a driven legal professional eager to make a substantial impact on clients’ lives through strategic litigation and advocacy.

Duties:

• Represent plaintiffs in high-stakes personal injury matters, including product liability, medical negligence, and trucking accidents

• Prepare and argue pre-trial motions, attend court appearances, and take/defend depositions

• Draft compelling legal briefs and settlement demands

• Participate in case evaluations and litigation strategy sessions

• Interact with experts, clients, and opposing counsel

• Engage in all phases of trial preparation and trial

• Coordinate with legal teams in multi-jurisdictional matters

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• Prior litigation experience in plaintiff-side personal injury cases

• Demonstrated capacity to manage a litigation caseload independently

• Able to commit to a full-time schedule, including occasional evening or weekend responsibilities as needed

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active bar membership in good standing (state bar license required; New York preferred but not mandatory)

Skills:

• Strong writing and oral advocacy abilities

• Skilled in legal research, deposition practice, and courtroom presentation

• Technologically proficient, including with virtual meeting tools and legal management software

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

• Able to thrive in both collaborative and autonomous work environments

• Resourceful, proactive, and committed to ethical standards
