Spring Internship

The internships are a unique opportunity for students to experience government firsthand, while serving the people of Florida's 11th Congressional District. Interns will work in a fast-paced congressional office, gaining valuable experience and knowledge of the legislative process and constituent service. Interns will work alongside experienced staff, while responding to constituent requests, assisting in legislative research, and welcoming guests. Interns work closely with professional staff on a variety of legislative projects and are also assigned important clerical tasks. Responsibilities include attending hearings, briefing and lectures, helping process tour and flag requests, handling incoming mail, giving visiting constituents tours of the Capitol, and performing general office duties. Recent college graduates interested in government and public service will be considered.
