Private Equity Finance Attorney

Profile

A law firm is seeking a Private Equity Finance Attorney in New York City office. The candidate will work on a broad range of private equity sponsored financing transactions. Manage closing processes and review/draft loan documents. Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and business professionals.

Duties:

• Work on various private equity sponsored financing transactions.
• Manage closing processes efficiently.
• Review and draft loan documents including commitment letters, term sheets, and loan agreements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence promptly.
• Provide timely and accurate work products.
• Meet deadlines and expectations consistently.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including computer work and virtual meetings.
• Perform all other assigned duties, tasks, or projects.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice in the state of hire.
• Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience.
• J.D. degree.

Experience:

1+ years of private equity sponsored leveraged acquisition finance transactions experience.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of private equity finance transactions.
• Proficiency in reviewing and drafting loan documents.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines consistently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive work relationships.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work products.
