• Collaborate with experts and clients to strengthen cases.
• Manage a high caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide ongoing support to senior attorneys and engage in team-based legal strategy discussions.

Requirements:

• 0 to 5 years of experience in civil defense litigation, ideally in medical malpractice.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to think independently and apply legal knowledge to real-world situations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a substantial and complex caseload.
• Collaborative mindset and effective team player.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar (or eligibility to sit for the bar exam).

Skills:

• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Proficiency in legal document preparation and motion practice.
• Ability to engage with clients and experts professionally.
• Strong case management abilities and organizational skills.
• Experience or aptitude for medical malpractice defense is a plus.
