The candidate's responsibilities include briefing complex issues before trial and appellate courts and arbitrators, working closely with clients and potential clients, appearing before courts and arbitrators, case management, discovery (including taking and defending depositions and working with paralegal teams on written discovery), and negotiating, drafting, and overseeing settlements. Recent graduates with extensive experience in clinical placements will be a plus. Should have 2-3 years relevant experience. Should have outstanding research, writing, and oral argument skills, and a dedication to creative and passionate advocacy on behalf of workers. Should be able to quickly hit the ground running with their own caseload, assuming primary responsibility for a number of cases while also working collaboratively as part of a larger team.
