A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in handling insurance coverage disputes within the commercial insurance sector. Experience with various types of insurance coverage and complex commercial litigation is preferred.

Duties

• Review and analyze commercial insurance policies and claim files.
• Draft insurance coverage evaluations and position letters.
• Conduct legal research to support coverage evaluations and litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload.
• Collaborate with partners on complex litigation matters.
• Communicate effectively with all parties involved in litigation.
• Participate in strategy discussions and case planning.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work independently and productively.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
• Commitment to the local community.

Education
