A law firm seeks a mid-level Labor & Employment Associate to join its team in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in employment-related litigation, including discovery practice and defending charges with the EEOC or state agencies.

Duties

• Engage in employment-related litigation and discovery practice.
• Investigate and defend charges with the EEOC or state agencies.
• Provide general advice and counseling on employment agreements and compliance.
• Review and draft employment policies and agreements.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in employment-related litigation.
• Experience with discovery practice and defending EEOC charges.
• Active member of the New Jersey bar.
• Experience in arguing motions or taking depositions is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active New Jersey bar membership.

Skills

• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with employment agreements and compliance issues.
• Ability to provide legal advice and counseling.
