Duties

• Provide legal advice and case updates to clients independently.
• Conduct or contribute to client consultations and accompany clients to interviews.
• Formulate case strategy and oversee production of case materials.
• Draft complex case matters and function as a primary client contact.
• Lead or participate in case status meetings with legal support staff.
• Examine and address questions or issues raised by support staff.
• Conduct legal research and maintain knowledge of immigration law developments.
• Represent the firm at client and industry functions as directed.

Requirements

• Ability to address common legal issues independently.
• Pre-existing knowledge of relevant laws and agency practices.
• 2-5 years of Business Immigration law experience preferred.
• Effective caseload and deadline management skills.
• High awareness of legal developments and client needs.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent.

Certifications

• State Bar Membership.
