Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Tax Credit Associate for their Phoenix, AZ office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in tax credit matters, with a focus on real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits. Candidates in St. Louis are strongly preferred, but applications from Phoenix, including virtual office candidates, are welcome.

Duties

• Advise clients on tax credit finance and development matters.
• Collaborate with teams on real estate finance projects.
• Manage New Markets Tax Credits transactions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of tax credit experience.
• Experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
• Active bar license in the relevant state or commitment to obtain one.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar license in the state of practice.
