Aon is looking for a Director of Channel Sales to join our North American Aon Cyber Solutions team. This role with focus across the U.S. with collaboration with other Cyber Solutions’ teams globally. The main objective is to build and strengthen Aon’s partner channels, collaborate closely with delivery and sales teams to build pipeline, and help accelerate overall revenue growth. You must have strong prospecting, relationship management, and operational experience to accelerate our channel partner ecosystem. The colleague will be a team player, who possesses a strong sales and alliances support background, enabling them to engage with distribution and partner sales organizations at multiple levels within the cyber security market. In this role the colleague would interact with a wide variety of partners who operate with different business models and marketing strategies (e.g. resellers, referral partners, systems integrators, and ISV’s), as well as Aon’s field sales teams. You will be laser focused on creating efficiencies in the engagement process and building long-term and scalable go-to-market partnerships in the cyber ecosystem, to drive the pipeline and revenue generation.The colleague should also have a demonstrated ability to support the success of sales teammates and think analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. We are looking for candidates that are creative, ambitious, and looking to expand and advance their alliance sales careers.Role ResponsibilitiesHelp establish, operationalize, and run a network of value-added partners to help sell through to Aon clients.Handle and develop our OEM, reseller, and channel strategies.Manage, review, monitor and report on deal registrations and price concessions both for partner solutions as well as Aon solutions (external and internal deals).Act as a channel domain expert and liaison between partners and clients.Work with Aon’s Cyber Solutions sales team, broader Aon field sales, and partner ecosystem to enable and support an efficient engagement model.Manage quoting and closing a high volume of transactions via the channel.Be responsible for owning and exceeding quarterly sales targets to drive revenue growth and conduct quarterly business reviews with key partners.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesWorking in channel sales, including an intimate knowledge of how to work with distribution.Experience in software or hardware sales, sales support, and general business developmentProven experience instituting repeatable channel sales model & process.Demonstrable success in growing and developing partner/channel programs, ideally in cyber or related markets.A strong philosophy around partner management and enablement.Experience in successful forecasting and channel pipeline management and track record of having, achieving or surpassing quotas.We offer youA competitive total rewards package, continuing education & training, and tremendous potential with a growing worldwide organization.Our Colleague Experience:From helping clients gain access to capital after natural disasters, to creating access to health care and retirement for millions, Aon colleagues empower results for our clients, communities, and each other every day.
