Payroll Specialist
The candidate will manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely, in accordance with processing deadlines. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate all entries. Administer Payroll Garnishments and change in withholding requests. Assist with administration of the eTime and UTM Time and Attendance systems. Assist with accurate and timely reporting for monthly and year end (w-2, W‑2c ). Generate Ad Hoc Reports as required. Compute and process manual/off cycle check requests. Update and reconcile monthly outstanding bank statements from Ultimate Software. Maintain files with appropriate support. Assist with updating and maintaining documentation of department processes, procedures and controls. Assist with department projects and audits as assigned. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Should have 4+ years of payroll experience required. Experience processing multi-state payroll is preferred. Experience processing multiple payroll frequencies is required. Working knowledge of Ultimate Software HRIS system is preferred.
