Duties

• Manage active case load and client reporting.
• Coordinate with experts and draft discovery documents.
• Prepare parties for depositions and take depositions.
• Appear at hearings and draft motions.
• Prepare for and attend trials.
• Conduct settlement negotiations when requested.
• Maintain client satisfaction through prompt communication.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Bill 175 hours per month.
• Meet all deadlines with timely work product submission.

Requirements

• 4+ years of law practice experience.
• Experience in transportation, construction defect, and premise litigation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer and software use.
• Active member of the Texas State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
