Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney
The candidate investigates and manages Workers’ Compensation cases from inception until conclusion through dismissal, settlement, or trial. Works with adjuster and clients to resolve claims as expeditiously and efficiently as possible. Handles a caseload of Workers’ Compensation cases. Meets with clients and claims professionals to resolve cases in the most cost-effective manner. Answers and develops theories and affirmative defenses. Engages in routine motion practice, discovery, and research. Handles routine depositions, hearings, conferences, and Trials. Travels to the boards as required. Should preferably have 4+ years of litigation experience. Should be admitted to the Bar and must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdictions where assigned.
