A Fort Lauderdale-based law firm is seeking a highly skilled litigation attorney with substantial experience managing intricate business and employment-related disputes. This role involves leading litigation efforts from inception to resolution, including trial work and appellate matters. The position is ideal for a litigation professional who thrives in a courtroom setting and has demonstrated expertise in handling complex legal conflicts affecting businesses and employers.

Duties:

• Oversee and execute all phases of litigation involving business and employment disputes

• Conduct in-depth legal analysis and draft high-level pleadings, memoranda, and motions

• Prepare for and take depositions, and manage the full discovery process

• Represent clients during court proceedings, arbitration sessions, and trials

• Handle appellate matters including briefing and oral argument

• Develop case strategy and collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure favorable outcomes

• Stay current with changes in employment and commercial litigation trends and laws

• Manage multiple cases concurrently while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of hands-on litigation experience focused on business and/or employment law

• Demonstrated success managing complex cases through trial and/or appeal

• Proficient in litigation strategy, legal writing, and courtroom advocacy

• Able to handle matters independently, including client interactions and litigation planning

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical abilities

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Admitted and in good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and persuasive writing abilities

• Advanced oral advocacy and negotiation skills

• Strong command of procedural rules and civil litigation processes

• Ability to synthesize complex information and provide clear legal guidance

• Skilled in managing caseloads with efficiency and precision
