The candidate should have a strong interest in business immigration law, the ability to work independently and autonomously, and the drive to provide thoughtful, professional immigration support to D&S attorneys, case managers, and clients. Must understand the importance of attention to detail, and have a desire to grow in the position and with the Firm. The ideal candidate values being part of a collaborative, tight-knit team and is interested in being a key player at a firm where hard work and dedication are rewarded. Responsibilities will include: Assist in the preparation (drafting and assembling) and filing of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications; Monitoring case processing before and after filing, including the preparation of visa approval packages; Monitoring and meeting internal and external deadlines on assigned cases and proactively communicating case progress to supervisors; Keeping client records and files organized and updated; Maintaining client databases and reports with respect to approval and validity dates of visa petitions, assisting with case milestone and expiration monitoring; Requires: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 1-3 years of experience as a business immigration paralegal; Experience must include preparation of H-1B, L-1, TN, and O-1 nonimmigrant visas as well as PERM and employment-based green cards, (EB-1, EB-2 and EB-3).
