Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney to join its tax and estate planning practice group in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of law firm experience and a strong background in relevant practice areas.

Duties

• Advise clients on tax and estate planning matters.
• Collaborate with team members on complex legal issues.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Represent clients in negotiations and legal proceedings.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of law firm experience.
• Experience in non-profits, corporate and partnership taxation, state and local taxation, or international tax.
• Membership in the Utah Bar or willingness to take the Utah Bar.
• Membership in the Bar of another U.S. state if not currently in Utah.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• LLM in Tax preferred.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in any U.S. state.
