A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in divorce, custody legal proceedings, or a comparable area of practice. The role involves handling complex and high-conflict matters, including divorce, custody disputes, relocation cases, and protective order litigation.

Duties

• Manage your own family law caseload.
• Appear regularly in Superior Court throughout Arizona.
• Draft motions, objections, pretrial statements, and other legal pleadings.
• Work directly with clients navigating high-stakes personal matters.
• Complete formal discovery and disclosure of relevant evidence.
• Negotiate resolution and attend mediation on behalf of clients.
• Prepare for and conduct final trials and/or evidentiary hearings.
• Collaborate with an experienced litigation team.

Requirements

• 2-7 years of family law experience (Arizona preferred).
• Comfortable handling hearings and courtroom advocacy.
• Strong writing and case strategy skills.
• Ability to build and maintain rapport with clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Arizona.
