A law firm is seeking a highly motivated Employment Law Associate to join its team in Burlington, Vermont. This position requires 1-3 years of experience in employment law. Duties

• Counsel clients on a variety of employment law matters.

• Draft and negotiate employment-related documents, such as contracts, policies, and agreements.

• Represent clients in court and administrative proceedings.

• Conduct legal research and provide advice on employment law issues.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to address legal issues and develop strategies.

• Participate in business development activities to help grow the firm’s client base.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in employment law.

• Strong academic credentials.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Intellectual curiosity and a commitment to excellent client service.

• Self-starting work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Vermont State Bar or ability to become licensed in Vermont.
