A highly respected law firm is seeking an Entry-Level Immigration Attorney to join its growing immigration practice in Phoenix, Arizona. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic attorney early in their career to develop hands-on experience representing clients in removal defense, family-based immigration, and other immigration matters, while working closely with a supportive team of experienced attorneys and legal professionals.

Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions to clients
Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals
Manage and prioritize a workload of active immigration cases
Conduct intake visits with detained individuals at detention centers
Prepare and file diverse immigration applications, including family-based petitions and removal defense filings
Review and revise immigration application packets as needed
Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations regarding changes in immigration law
Conduct consultations with potential clients to determine case strategy
Develop case strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for testimony before courts and USCIS
Draft and submit legal briefs and supporting documents for a variety of immigration cases
0–3 years of immigration law experience
Ability to manage and advance legal cases independently
Willingness to work collaboratively with fellow associates and legal staff
Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered legal service
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law (or pending bar admission if recently graduated)
Familiarity with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian Petitions, EOIR proceedings, Detained cases, Citizenship applications, and other USCIS filings
Preferred experience with Case Management Software
Spanish/English bilingual skills preferred, but not required
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Strong strategic thinking and attention to detail
